iitAh, happy hour – that magical time when the day’s stresses fade away, and it’s all about unwinding with friends and colleagues or just treating yourself. And what better way to elevate this cherished tradition than with a glass of your favorite wine? In this post, I’m strolling into the world of the most beloved happy hour wines, ready to make your evenings even more delightful.  This list is based on a poll on the internet, not my likes and dislikes.  I would love to hear your favorite wine, as most of mine did not make the list.

 Prosecco:

Let’s start with something bubbly and fun—Prosecco! This Italian sparkling wine has become a go-to for so many of us. Its light, fizzy nature makes it perfect for toasting the end of a long day or kicking off a weekend. Whether you’re sipping it solo or mixing it into a fruity cocktail, Prosecco always adds a touch of celebration to happy hour. I’m not a big fan of this slightly sweet wine, but I do like it as an Aperol Spritzer.

 Sauvignon Blanc:

If you’re into crisp, refreshing whites, Sauvignon Blanc is your best friend. Hailing from all corners of the globe, from France to New Zealand, this wine is bursting with zesty acidity and vibrant fruit flavors. It’s the ideal match for a plate of fresh seafood or a tangy salad – refreshing, delicious, and oh-so-easy to enjoy. As far as whites go, I prefer Pino Grigio, but this isn’t just about me.

 Pinot Noir:

Now, let’s talk reds. Yes, please. Pinot Noir is a crowd-pleaser for good reason. Its silky texture, delicate aromas, and versatility make it a happy hour staple. Whether indulging in a glass by itself or pairing it with some cheese and charcuterie, Pinot Noir brings a touch of elegance to any gathering.  As a red gal, this would be my choice from the whole list.  For some reason, full-bodied reds are not part of the popular wine club.

 Rosé:

No happy hour is complete without a splash of Rosé! With its pretty pink hue and lively personality, Rosé screams summertime fun. Whether you’re sipping it solo or mixing it into a fabulous cocktail like frosé, this wine is about kicking back and enjoying the moment.  And if you are looking to match your eyes to your wine, try our new Rosé All Day Collection.

 Chardonnay:

Last but certainly not least, we have Chardonnay – the ultimate comfort wine. Whether you prefer it crisp and unoaked or rich and buttery, Chardonnay is all about indulgence. Pair it with some creamy pasta or a plate of grilled seafood, and you’ve got yourself a happy hour fit for royalty.

When it comes to happy hour, wine is always a good idea. From the bubbly joy of Prosecco to the comforting embrace of Chardonnay, each wine brings its unique charm to the table. So, the next time happy hour rolls around, grab a bottle of your favorite wine, gather your friends, and toast to life’s simple pleasures.
