Sowing Seeds

It’s that time of year again; the seed catalogs have begun to arrive. I enjoy curling up on the sofa and getting lost in photos of colorful flowers and magnificent produce, especially when it’s gray and cold outside. Gardening has always been a healthy hobby of mine. I started hanging out in the garden with my Tutu, Hawaiian for grandmother, when I was around eight or nine. She always had a beautiful vegetable garden surrounded by zinnias.

Gardening is more than just a hobby. It’s a way to connect with nature, reduce stress, and even positively impact the environment. One of the most rewarding aspects of gardening is sowing seeds, watching them grow, and eventually reaping the fruits (or vegetables) of your labor.
